“Keep moving” & other not-to-be missed news items

Mouse studies seem to suggest that the best way to promote the growth of neurons and their interconnections is to “keep moving.”

There may be a promising new drug to halt osteoarthritis, the bone and cartilage loss associated with aging.

The advice to “keep moving” isn’t going to cure the obesity crisis, however. That’s best addressed by reducing calorie intake. One important benefit for doing so: forty percent of U.S. cancers are linked to obesity, with women especially being affected.
