Hurricanes Maria and Irma
Electric power is out throughout Puerto Rico, in the aftermath of the worst direct hit the island has suffered in almost a century. In the aftermath, the island is now suffering torrential rains as Maria heads toward the Bahamas as a category three hurricane.
Meanwhile Florida, in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, has two big problems: sewage and damage to its already endangered orange industry.
Graham-Cassidy health care bill

Wiretap scandal
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper yesterday denied having lied last March in claiming that presidential candidate Trump’s campaign had not been wiretapped, which now seems to have been the case.
Frontpage Magazine speculates that the Obama administration authorized a pattern of illegal intelligence leaks at first to prevent Trump’s election and then, after his unexpected election, to bring down his administration lest its own lawbreaking activities be prosecuted.
Vote fraud scandals
Evidence is piling up of vote fraud in Philadelphia and California, in Oregon, and in New Hampshire, In the NH case, the fraud may have tipped that state for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
