Lunacy on the Left over repeated failed attempts to bring down Trump

It’s ironic that the Left and Democrats, having tried practically everything else short of assassination (although even that has been called for by some notables), is now trying to portray the President as mentally deranged and therefore removable under the 25th Amendment. Harvard law professor and nationally famous attorney Alan Dershowitz compares such accusations to the practices of the Soviet and Chinese Communists. The repeated failed attempts to oust Trump, winner of the 2016 election, suggests where the real locus of lunacy resides.

The lunacy of the Left is underscored by its viral retweeting of a parody pretending to be an excerpt from the new anti-Trump book by Michael Wolff. Here’s the original parody.

 

NSA Director Admiral Rogers retires a hero

NSA Director, Admiral Mike Rogers, is retiring a hero in the eyes of Republicans and conservatives. He discovered the illegal surveillance of US citizens — namely, the Trump campaign and transition team — and went to the FISA court to have this stopped. On November 17, 2016, ten days after the election, he went to Trump Tower in Manhattan and warned the President Elect that he and his staff had been and might still be having their emails and phone calls spied on. The next day the President Elect moved his Transition Team out of Trump Tower to New Jersey. The next day word came that an Obama administration, upset at having their illegal scheming exposed to the President of the opposite party, called for Admiral Rogers to be removed as NSA Director.

Admiral Rogers’ actions in defense of the rule of law may have been the beginning of the unraveling of the Obama-Democratic Party conspiracy to undermine the legitimacy of the 2016 election, a conspiracy that makes Watergate pale by comparison.

Walls Closing in around Department of Justice / FBI conspirators

The key conspirators are being identified and exposed by multiple investigations proceeding in the Senate, House, and judiciary. Even CNN, in a rare moment, lets its legal analyst speak truths not at all congruent with the network’s usual 7 x 24-hour story line. The Democrats are now scrambling to distance themselves from the Steele dossier that was central to their months-long accusations of Trump-Russian collusion to rig the election for Trump. Not to mention the Clinton Foundation and Clinton private email server

The Clinton Foundation is being investigated by the FBI as to whether it engaged in pay-to-play for the Clintons, and the Justice Department is reopening the scandal surrounding the private email server on which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton conducted government business. Andrew McCarthy argues that Mrs. Clinton’s intent “was clearly criminal.”

These investigations, unlike the Gorilla Channel, aren’t parody. Some of the actors could, and indeed should, spend time in jail for gross violations of the law and their constitutional responsibilities. That’s the only way to insure that such evil-doing is less likely to be repeated in the future.
