Yesterday, there was yet another Navy collision with a commercial ship: USS John S. McCain collision

Meanwhile, Angelo Codevilla accuses the Navy of a coverup in its investigation of the collision two months ago of the USS Fitzgerald: Collision report corrupt?  (But Codevilla’s charge that Sen. John McCain was responsible for the 1967 USS Forrestal disaster is an urban legend.)

Oh, and there’s speculation that China or Russia may have hacked the Seventh Fleet: Cyberwar in the Pacific?

An independent Congressional inquiry seems clearly warranted.
