Compelling China to drop its sponsorship of North Korea —
A nuclear-free Korea unified under South Korean leadership would be a win-win for both China and the U.S. and its regional allies. If China won’t negotiate this and instead destroys non-proliferation by allowing North Korea’s Kim Jong-un to survive, the U.S. should assist Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan:

  • To defend themselves by installing advanced anti-missile systems and going nuclear.
  • Simultaneously, the U.S. should place a death sentence on the trade-financing abilities of China’s major banks — by excluding them from U.S.-dollar-clearing institutions.

If China thinks the yuan could replace the dollar as the premier trade currency, it is engaging in wishful thinking: The yuan has a long way to go as a safe-haven currency —
